Need help with Gooji? Most questions are answered below. If you're still stuck, email us and we'll get back to you.
Gooji is a personal-finance assistant you talk to in plain language. Ask things like "analyze my spending," "how am I doing on my budget," or "help me save for a down payment," and Gooji turns your real account data into clear charts, summaries, and plans.
Go to the Banks tab and tap to add an account. Gooji uses Plaid — a trusted service used by thousands of financial apps — to connect securely. You log in directly through Plaid; Gooji never sees or stores your bank password.
Yes. Connections are read-only — Gooji can never move money or make transactions. Your bank credentials are handled by Plaid, access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers, and we don't sell your data or use third-party ad trackers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Open the Banks tab, select the institution you want to remove, and choose to unlink it. This stops Gooji from accessing that account's data going forward.
Transaction data comes directly from your financial institution through Plaid, and categories are estimated automatically. Occasionally data can be delayed or labeled imperfectly. Try pulling to refresh, and if something still looks wrong, email us.
Gooji provides informational insights only — not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Its answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always double-check important numbers and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. See our Terms of Service.
Email us at support@gooji.app and we'll delete your account and associated data. You can also unlink your financial institutions at any time from the Banks tab.
Gooji is free to download and use.
We'd love to hear it. Email support@gooji.app with as much detail as you can (what you did, what happened, your device model and iOS version) and we'll take a look.
