This Privacy Policy explains how Twinshore International Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Gooji mobile application (the "App"). By using Gooji, you agree to the practices described here.
Gooji is a conversational personal-finance assistant. The App lets you link financial accounts, ask questions about your money in natural language, and receive summaries, charts, budgets, and plans. The data controller is Twinshore International Holdings LLC, contactable at support@gooji.app.
When you connect a bank, credit card, or brokerage account, we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to securely access your data. Depending on the accounts you link, this may include:
We never receive or store your bank login credentials. Plaid access tokens are stored encrypted on our backend and are never exposed to the App on your device. Your use of Plaid is also governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
If you use voice features, audio is recorded and transcribed to text on your device. The audio recording is deleted immediately after transcription and is never uploaded to our servers or to any third party. Only the resulting text is processed like any other chat message.
If you enable push notifications, we collect an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token so we can deliver notifications. Notifications are delivered through Apple's APNs.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you).
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can disconnect a linked financial institution at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 7). We may retain limited information as required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. Financial access tokens are stored encrypted and are not accessible from your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Gooji is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate from the State of California, USA, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
